The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has upgraded the SPIRE system to the latest version of the Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions software.

Summary of Changes for Students

  • Searching for classes has changed a little. See Search for Classes and Browse Course Catalog for further details.
  • See a printable summary of what's new for students since the upgrade.

Summary of Changes for Instructors, Advisors, and Staff

In general, much of SPIRE has not changed. Most of the big changes are behind the scenes. One significant exception, however, is in the area of advising. The new version of SPIRE features an interactive degree audit tool with links to classes students can choose to satisfy their unmet graduation requirements. The new interactive ARR (Academic Requirements Report) is now available.

We, the SPIRE Training team, developed learning resources to help you through the transition. Check our SPIRE section of the OIT website. The Help for Staff, Students, Instructors, and Advisors sections have new documentation. Staff SPIRE users and advisors will also receive emails with important information about new features, training options, and quick tips throughout October and November.

If you have any questions about the upgrade, please contact SPIRE Training and Support at
