- Stay in touch. Check your Google Mail from anywhere with a Web browser and an Internet connection. With a mailbox size of 7.2 GB and growing, you don’t have to worry about hitting your storage limit.
- Chat online with friends. See who else is logged in to Google Apps, and have a text or voice chat with them. You can invite as many people as you’d like. Google Mail automatically saves all of your text chats, too, so you can refer back to them later.
- Get organized. Share your calendars for your class, team, or club with Google Calendar. You can easily add items from other people’s calendars to your own.
- Share your work. Use Google Docs and Google Sites to collaborate across campus or across the globe. Share documents, spreadsheets, or presentations online.
- Make your own Web site. Set up your own custom Web page that shows your Google Calendar and anything else that’s important to you. You can set it up yourself, even if you’ve never heard of HTML.
- Go mobile. Use your Web-enabled mobile phone or PDA to view and manage your email and calendar.
- Access your documents anywhere. Import your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations from other programs (e.g., MS Word) directly into Google Docs, then access them where ever you have an Internet connection.
- Get reminders. Use Google Calendar to send you an email or a message to your mobile device about an meeting or event.
- Find something quickly. Use a word or phrase to quickly search your mailbox for specific emails or chat transcripts. You can also search documents, calendars, or sites for specific words.
- Organize your mailbox. Color-code emails from certain people or mailing list groups so that you can quickly identify them in your inbox. You can also 'star' messages to make them easier to find later.
